Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

EQUALITY! It comes from the word EQUAL.  Equality is all about treating people in an appropriate way, in an equal way.  Equality in its wider sense, as in definition of equal opportunities encompasses gender race, disability, sexual orientation and also individuals and groups facing discrimination or social origin of personal attributes, including beliefs and opinions.
Equality has a big connection to these words, "Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities."  In our society there is gender discrimination.  Discrimination towards women and girls is one of the most pervasive human rights violations.  Women are being underestimated. They are being harass and abused.  Some say that women are weak or not as strong as men, that they can't do what men can do, but this is certainly not true, this argument is negated by the numbers of women who fought alongside their fellow men in the liberation struggles.  For me, women must not be treated unequal; they must be treated justly in families, workplaces, public life and the Church.  They are the backbone of our families, and they play a major role in our life and in our society.
Gender equality should be promoted and men should be involved in promoting women's rights.  Women deserve to be treated equally. We must acknowledge the strength of those women entrepreneurs who have created many small businesses which have helped to enhance our economy.  They have been contributed a lot on the progress of the economy in our country.
