LOVE: The Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ.  Christmas is the season of sharing gifts, expressing our gratitude to the people who have done good deed to us, and forgiveness.
Everybody loves Christmas.  Everyone wants their Christmas to be meaningful.  Buying gifts, preparing food, visiting our family, having an out of town Christmas vacation, this is how we celebrate our Christmas, but it seems like we forget the true meaning of Christmas.
The essence of Christmas is LOVE, and remembering the BIRTH of JESUS CHRIST.  Even if we end up giving few gifts, what’s really important is that we know what the real essence of Christmas is.  Gifts are not important, as long as we show our love to our family, as long as we forgive the people who have sinned, and forget what they’ve done wrong, our Christmas will be fun and full of bliss.
Show our love every day, remember our Lord Jesus Christ, Christmas doesn’t stop on the 25th of December because EVERYDAY IS CHRISTMAS, every day is a gift giving day.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

EQUALITY! It comes from the word EQUAL.  Equality is all about treating people in an appropriate way, in an equal way.  Equality in its wider sense, as in definition of equal opportunities encompasses gender race, disability, sexual orientation and also individuals and groups facing discrimination or social origin of personal attributes, including beliefs and opinions.
Equality has a big connection to these words, "Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities."  In our society there is gender discrimination.  Discrimination towards women and girls is one of the most pervasive human rights violations.  Women are being underestimated. They are being harass and abused.  Some say that women are weak or not as strong as men, that they can't do what men can do, but this is certainly not true, this argument is negated by the numbers of women who fought alongside their fellow men in the liberation struggles.  For me, women must not be treated unequal; they must be treated justly in families, workplaces, public life and the Church.  They are the backbone of our families, and they play a major role in our life and in our society.
Gender equality should be promoted and men should be involved in promoting women's rights.  Women deserve to be treated equally. We must acknowledge the strength of those women entrepreneurs who have created many small businesses which have helped to enhance our economy.  They have been contributed a lot on the progress of the economy in our country.

Responding to Climate Change

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to million of years.
Climate change is  caused by human activity, as opposed to changes in climate that may have resulted as part of Earth's natural processes.  Climate change includes global warming and everything else that increasing greenhouse gas amounts will affect.  The Philippines has experienced temperature spikes brought about by climate change.  It has been observed that warming is experienced most in the northern and southern regions of the country.  Hot days and hot nights have become more frequent.  Extreme weathers has occurred weather events since then.  And because of the climate change some sectors are affected like agriculture, fresh water, and coastal and marine resources and health.
If only people knows how to discipline their selves and protect and take care of the nature, we won't be experiencing climate changes.

My Reflection

Time Flies so fast.  It's been four months since the school year started and second grading period is almost over, the periodical test is getting nearer.
This grading period, our topic is all about the HTML tags, I have learned many things from this topic.  I learned that a HTML tag is surrounded with an angle bracket and I also learned how to use it properly.  At first, I thought the topic was hard but then I found it very easy.  We just need to know the tags, what are the uses of it and where to put it, we should also know the types or kinds of tags.  We are doing exercises about the HTML tags and every exercises, I have learned new tags, I learned how to change the font face, size and color of a text in a notepad.
Our topic in ICT is very interesting, I have gained so much knowledge from it.  I will always remember all the things that I've known from this lesson and maybe in the future I can use it again.

Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency

At this time, we are now living in a modern world.  Gadgets have been invented and have made our works easier to do.
Nowadays, youngsters are fun of using gadgets like cellphones with camera, wi-fi and all other special features, computers, laptops, etc.  Youngsters, students like me can use these high tech gadgets with their homework, research, communicating with their loved-ones, family, and friends.  Digital Literature is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate and analyze information using digital technology.  It involves a working knowledge of current of high technology  and an understanding of how it can be used.  Digitally literate people can communicate and work more efficiently, especially with those who possesses the same knowledge and skills.  Digital Literacy can help people improve their English speaking and writing skills by the use of those high-technology gadgdets.
Gadgets are very important in our life today in so many ways.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science in Synergy

On the month of September, Science club is celebrates he Science month with their theme, CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science in Synergy.
Since then, Science and Chemistry were already applied in our life.  It makes our life better.
Chemistry plays an important role in our life.  It develops an important role in discovery and understanding of materials contained in these and many other common household items.  Things like household cleaners and water purification system are vitally dependent on chemistry.  Something as simple as scrubbing a toilet without fear of severe burns or small explosions might not be possible.
Science is a reliable way to figure things out in a world that is so seldom fair and impartial.
The unity of Chemistry and Science Club will have a great effect promoting the importance of our environment.

My teacher,My hero

A hero is someone whom we admire, who is giving us an inspiration and who guides us for a better living. A teacher can also be our hero because they teaches us to become a better person.
A teacher is the one who taught us how to read, write, and to count.  They teach us things we don't know about our lives, environment and more.  They are also considered as our second parents.  They teach us good manners, good values.  Our teacher is our guide or way for a better future, they are the reason why we have a great doctros, teachers as well, great engineers, accountants and more.  If there are no teachers there are no professional person in this world.  Because of their sacrifices, we are learning so many things.  They are giving us their time just to teach us knowledgable things.
We should respect and salute our teachers, we should thank them because they give all their time for us, to teach us.

You Inspire Me, My Hero

We all have our own hero, whom we admire. It can be someone who have given honor in our country, it can be a member of our family and it can be someone whom we love.
For me, my hero is someone who is very special to me, someone whom I love. I admire him because he is a good person, a jolly man, and he makes me happy every time. He inspires me so much, he motivates me in everything that I do, he give me positive thoughts about something that I think to myself that I cannot do. He makes me love or like something that I hate or I don't like. He is really my hero, he saves me from giving-up on something. Every words that he say lightens-up my day. There is no dull moment with him, when I am with him I feel like I am safe, I feel like I'm in a good condition always. When he speak and tell me some encouraging words, I feel better. I know he would and he will take good care of me and defend me on someone who will harm me and when I see him happy, I feel the same way. Everything that he do, it makes me happy. He is a caring and a loving man. He always make a way to make me happy, I feel so lucky that I have him, from the day that I started to admire him, my life has changed for the better. I become strong because of him, I became the most happy person because of him. He is my hero, he is my inspiration.
From then until forever, he is the only person, the only one that I will admire. He is my real hero.
